肯雅兰全民党表示愿与砂拉越本地反对党讨论州选合作，但目前并未宣布组成联盟或达成选区协议。
党主席 Voon Lee Shan 在9月24日声明中说，肯雅兰全民党愿就第13届砂拉越州选的合作展开讨论；若各方谈妥，可在个别选区推出一名反对党候选人。他列出的条件包括尊重各党身份、遵守选区协议，以及不挖角其他政党的党员或领袖。
Voon Lee Shan 也说，反对党过去曾讨论合作，但未能达成完整协议。因此，这次表态反映的是肯雅兰全民党的谈判立场，并不代表联盟或席位分配已经落实；能否在个别选区形成一对一对垒，仍取决于后续协商。
