砂拉越人工降雨行动暂定9月3日至5日，烟霾若继续恶化，行动可能提前。
联邦方面公布，砂拉越、吉打和玻璃市将在这段期间进行人工降雨，由马来西亚气象局与皇家空军配合。砂拉越州方则继续观察空气情况，评估是否需要提前行动。
截至8月30日下午2时，APIMS数据显示实文然API为425、三马拉汉336、古晋313。人工降雨除了应对烟霾，也可在水坝水位下降时协助增加蓄水量。
9月3日至5日只是预定时段，不是保证每个地方都会下雨。是否起飞，仍要看云层形成和移动；每日飞行时间及目标地点尚未公布。
