民都鲁水患治理获追加5300万令吉，工程料10月展开

民都鲁3个地点获5300万令吉防洪拨款，工程目标10月展开。
砂拉越政府追加5300万令吉，推动民都鲁Gem Park、Desa Damai及SJK Sebiew的第二阶段防洪工程。民都鲁灌溉与排水局预计最快9月初招标，实体工程目标在10月中至月底动工。
与此同时，州政府拟为民都鲁整体防洪系统展开长期研究，检视现有系统的规划、承载能力及改善需要。国际咨询公司Rainbow可能参与，并与本地技术人员合作；不过，咨询公司的委任、费用及服务范围仍有待敲定。
10月是目前公布的目标，并非代表水患届时就会完全解决。Gem Park、Desa Damai及SJK Sebiew一带居民在大雨期间仍应留意地方警报，之后可关注招标公告及实际开工日期。
