Telaga Air Waterfront: Kuching's Quiet Fishing Village Escape
-
Some Kuching outings do not need a full itinerary. Telaga Air Waterfront is that easy half-day drive where you go for river breeze, fishing boats, a short walk, maybe seafood after that, then balik before the day gets too heavy.

Useful info:
Address: Jeti, Kampung Telaga Air, 93050 Kuching, Sarawak
Distance: Around 27-30 km from Kuching Waterfront, roughly 35-40 minutes by car depending on traffic
️ Entry: Free for the waterfront area
Boat trips: Wildlife and mangrove-style boat trips may be arranged with local operators; Boat trips may cost around RM320 per boat, but confirm current price before going
️ Food: Seafood stalls and casual makan spots nearby, usually better on weekends or later in the day
️ Notes: Do not swim in the river, check weather before boat trips, and bring sun protection if you go in the afternoonThis one is not a wow-wow landmark, but it is a very Kuching kind of place. Have you been to Telaga Air just to walk around and makan?
