拉妮博物馆：在河滨旁听 Margaret 的故事

拉妮博物馆藏在古晋旧法庭建筑群里，规模小、主题集中，也很容易被路过的人忽略。我会为了了解 Brooke 时代的一段个人故事进去，但不会把它当成完整的砂拉越历史。
来源： Malaysia Traveller常设展览以 Margaret de Windt 为主角。她与 Charles Brooke 结婚后成为砂拉越 Ranee，馆内通过肖像、文字、音乐和物件，呈现她如何理解并记录自己在砂拉越的生活。
来源： Brooke Museums / Jee Photography这种集中角度既是优点，也是限制。一个人的生平能让历史更有人味，但一名统治阶层人物无法代表 Brooke 管治下众多本地社群的经历。我会把它当成其中一个视角，再到婆罗洲文化博物馆补上更广的社会与文化背景。

喜欢书信、肖像、家族史和安静展馆的人，会比期待大型互动展示的游客更享受这里。展览不大，下雨打断老城散步时，也很适合进来慢慢看。

- 顺路走旧法庭庭院、Main Bazaar 和河滨公园
- 想继续了解同一时代，可再去 Fort Margherita 的 Brooke Gallery
- 出发前向 Brooke Museums 确认开放日、最后入场时间、票价或联票
我的判断：喜欢历史的人值得短暂停留；带着想玩互动展览的小孩时，它不会是我的第一选择。 这里的价值在集中，不在规模。
