A team from the Kidurong Fire and Rescue Station was called to the crash at about 8.41am.

Firefighters found the driver trapped in the Proton Preve. He was extricated using rescue tools and handed to Ministry of Health personnel, who confirmed his death at the scene.

The operation ended at 10am after Bomba secured the area.

The cause and legal classification should be left to the police, medical team or rescue authorities. Drivers and bystanders should keep clear of the scene, avoid sharing distressing images and pass genuine information directly to investigators.
