<![CDATA[Sibu Police Watch For New Piu Piu Drug]]>Sibu police say the new synthetic drug known as “Piu Piu” has not been detected locally, but monitoring has been tightened.

Sibu police chief ACP Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said the drug is believed to be mixed with vape liquids, and police are watching entry and exit points to prevent it from entering the district.

He said police are still waiting for confirmation from the Health Ministry on the exact composition of the substance.

Commercial crime and narcotics remain key policing priorities in Sibu. Police also said index crime has dropped by about 7%, equal to around 35 fewer cases.
