KUCHING, July 25 - Kenyalang Park residents may see water pressure return to normal after Sarawak Water completes pipe works now being carried out in the area.

Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng said Sarawak Water had identified the issue and was working on the affected pipeline, including installing and welding a 600mm by 200mm clamp tee.

Some residents had to wake up late at night to store water. Some hawkers also complained that low water pressure at night affected business operations.

Wee said the works could be completed by next week if everything goes smoothly. MBKS will continue monitoring the matter and channel updates to residents.
