Sarawak Customs said its Narcotics Branch carried out the operation on July 9 after two Malaysian men arrived on a domestic flight from Johor Bahru.

• In the first case, officers detained a man around 9.10pm after he allegedly removed a baggage tag from his suitcase near the arrival hall.
• Officers found 13 Chinese tea packets believed to contain about 13.2kg of methamphetamine, worth around RM660,000.
• A second man from the same flight was later arrested using a similar method.
• The second seizure involved about 13.178kg of methamphetamine and 83 Eramin 5 tablets, worth about RM660,560.
• The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
